The identity ministry
Knowing
Someone who has been called and saved comes to know their identity as a son, recognizes they are kingdom royalty, and walks into their true existence and purposed call.
About the name
Sonship is for every son and daughter of God.
Sonship in Scripture is not about being male. It is the standing every believer is given: adopted, spoken for, and made an heir. Daughters are sons in this sense, and the ministry is for them in the same measure.
“Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.”
What a son
They know their identity
Not in their circumstances, their titles, their past, or the structure of their household. In Christ Jesus.
They know they are kingdom royalty
A son of God is an heir of God and a co-heir with Christ. That is a standing, not a feeling, and it does not move when life does.
They walk in their calling
Into their true existence and their purposed call, with people around them who know what they are walking toward.
Romans 8:16-17
“Now if we are children, then we are heirs: ”
Where it sits
The third thing,
Healing leads to restoration. Restoration leads to identity. A restored family raises sons who know who they are, so this ministry sits at the end of that work rather than at the start of it.
